Who We Are
We are a community-based robotics team in Wake County, NC. Our team is comprised of eight high school students and five coaches and mentors. We compete in FIRST Tech Challenge, which is a worldwide robotics competition.
Our Mission
Our mission is to promote and share STEM within our community. This is accomplished by sharing our passion for robotics and engineering with younger students. We host events across the state where we teach and share our experiences with the next generation.
What We Do
We design, build, and program a robot to complete a specific task. Each year a new game challenge is introduced for teams worldwide to design for. We also run an outreach program promoting FIRST and STEM to other teams, students, and adults within our community.
Our History
Fire On The Mountain was created in early 2023. Our coaches, Caleb and Cole were involved in FTC throughout high school, and they sought to build something that could have the same impact on others. After locating an outstanding group of students Fire On The Mountain was born. We look forward to continuing to grow and expand our program and to have an impact within our community.
Why Sponsor Us?
Grants and donations completely fund Fire On The Mountain Robotics. Sponsoring us will help us acquire new equipment, pay competition fees, cover travel expenses, and help us with community outreach. We seek donations to help get our team off the ground and enter next season as a fierce competitor.
