Co-Team Lead

Hello! I’m Cohen Kuntz, a co-lead of Fire on the Mountain. I specialize in fundraising and outreach for the team. This is my 6th year doing robotics and my 4th year doing FTC. I got into robotics during middle school because I was interested in building and creating robots while showing the world what robots were capable of. Because of this I’ve gotten into sharing our mission as a team by reaching out to as many people as possible to get them excited about engineering. I do this by organizing many different events to present the robot, who we are, and how we go through the engineering design process. Throughout the years I also got interested in the automotive field and intend to go into Motorsport throughout collage and I intend to work for a performance division of an automotive company. 

Co-Team Lead

Hello, My name is Kaden Lee and this will be my 4th year doing FTC. I am a senior at Franklin Academy Highschool and am Co-Lead of Fire on the Mountain. I pursued engineering and STEM through FTC because it allowed me a place to learn engineering and express my creativity through design. After high school I wish to use the skills I gained from FTC and pursue a motorsport engineering degree in Europe. I am looking forward to this year and am super excited to see what my last year year in FTC has in store. 

Software Lead

I'm a high school senior with a passion for software engineering and robotics. I’ve spent the last few seasons designing and programming FTC robots from scratch—taking teams to the World Championship along the way. Outside of FTC, I like building programming projects for my portfolio, building computers, and fishing. I'm excited to bring this background to Fire on the Mountain this season! 

Mechanical Personnel

Hello, my name is Liam, and I am an 8th-grade student. I joined FTC because I have a strong passion for computers and technology, and I enjoy taking on new challenges. I have been interested in learning how computers and technology work for years, and FTC gives me the opportunity to expand my knowledge while working with a team.

In addition to robotics, I participate in band and swimming, which have helped me develop teamwork, discipline, and problem-solving skills. However, technology has always been my greatest interest, and I am excited to continue learning, building new skills, and contributing to FOTM. 

Social Media / Marketing Lead

Hello everyone! Im Sophia Soto, and I am currently our Social Media/Marketing lead. In regards to how I was inspired to join FTC, I ran my own student council campaign, and Cohen offered me this role based off my campaigns Social Media work. I am very greatful for such an opportunity, and im so excited to be here! A few cool things about me are that I am Colombian, born in the capital city, fluent in spanish, to add on, I have been singing and preforming for 5 years, I do Musical Theater, plus I do many extracurricular and leadership work! Hello, my name is Joseph, and I am currently a senior at Franklin Academy High School. This is my first year being on the FOTM team and I joined because I’ve always had an interest in robotics and have wanted to join for some time now. I believe that this will be a very beneficial group for me due to wanting to go into mechanical engineering and become an engineer for a major golf club company. I am very eager to see how this team will do and am very thankful for the opportunity given to me.
